Reporting directly to a Senior Project Manager, this position is ideally suited to someone with an architectural background who is looking to broaden their exposure beyond design and gain experience across the full development and construction lifecycle.
The Role
As Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with project teams, consultants, councils and contractors to ensure projects are effectively coordinated, documented and delivered on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating planning approvals, building permits and regulatory requirements
- Managing project documentation and maintaining project records
- Assisting with contract administration and consultant coordination
- Supporting project scheduling, workflow management and milestone tracking
- Preparing specifications, client selections and project-related documentation
- Managing stakeholder communication across internal and external project teams
- Assisting with project reporting, progress claims and commercial administration
- A background in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Design Coordination or Architectural Project Management
- Experience working within residential, medium-density, commercial or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of planning approvals, building regulations and construction documentation
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
