Busy and highly respected Tier 2 builder are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team. This builder is known for delivering projects across the Commercial, Data centres, Student accommodation and Education sectors with construction values up to $500M.

Initial projects could be a $300M Data Centre or a $300M Commercial high rise in early stages. 

This business has a reputation for been on the best builders in Sydney and they really look after their employees!

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and prepare cash flow statements
  • Provide input for financial reports to the Management Team
  • Ensure site supervisory staff are aware of the project's scope of works and inclusions in tender packages
  • Preparation of tender documentation required for the procurement of sub-contractors including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, comparative tender analysis and recommendations.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants
  • Liaise with client regarding progress claims to Head Contract
To be considered for this role you will have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Experience working on commercial projects 
  • Solid local experience working as a Contracts Administrator
  • Previous proven experience completing multiple projects start to finish 
  • Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts
  • A working knowledge of major building trades
  • Attitude is a must - They are a close knit business and do not want egos.
  • Have at least three years out of uni
  • Must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role 
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
