Contract Administrator Responsibilities:
- Support the commercial and contractual administration of major construction projects from procurement through to completion.
- Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor packages, scopes of works, tender documentation, and contract correspondence.
- Assist with procurement activities including tender analysis, scope comparisons, subcontract negotiations, and award recommendations.
- Manage RFIs, variations, progress claims, payment schedules, and monthly reporting.
- Track project costs, commitments, forecasts, and commercial risks.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, and Site teams to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved.
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve commercial and contract-related issues.
- Maintain accurate project records, registers, trackers, and documentation systems.
- Assist with head contract administration, notices, extensions of time, and other contractual obligations.
- Support project delivery by identifying risks early and contributing to mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all commercial processes are completed in line with company procedures and project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Contribute to project planning and support the team in delivering work safely, on time, and within budget.
