Our client is a leading owner, operator and developer of hotel and hospitality venues nationally. With a clear remit for growth and excellent capital backing, this group are currently looking to appoint a Development Manager.
The Role
With a focus on the front-end of the development lifecycle, this role is responsible for structuring and negotiating commercials, establishing project briefs and program, appointment of consultant teams and driving early design. Working in a highly collaborative environment you will partner closely with internal design managers, project managers, finance, legal and operations teams. This role will suit development professionals with strong commercial acumen and expert skills in stakeholder management.
About You
It is anticipated that successful candidates will have the following skillset & experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Construction, Property or related field
- Proven track record in development management on the Eastern seaboard
- Ideally exposure to commercial or mixed-use assets
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of property finance
- Ability to work collaboratively and build excellent stakeholder relationships
