Reporting to the Building Managers, you'll be responsible for leading the organisation's OHSE function across residential construction operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and promote a positive safety-first culture across all construction sites
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and company standards
- Develop, maintain and improve safety management systems, policies and procedures
- Conduct audits, site inspections and safety reviews across active projects
- Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions
- Mentor and manage field-based OHSE personnel
- Oversee contractor compliance, inductions and toolbox talks
- Manage injury management and Return to Work processes
- Deliver safety reporting, analytics and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and behavioural safety programs
- 5 years minimum experience in similar position within residential or commercial building
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience managing audits, investigations and safety systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading and developing safety teams
- Strong organisational and reporting capability
