This is a site-based HSE Coordinator position on a $30M aged care project in Lynbrook, working with a proven aged care builder
The role is predominantly onsite, working directly with subcontractors to manage and enforce safety standards across the project. You'll be the go-to person for site safety — running inductions, managing SWIMS, reviewing safety plans, and making sure subcontractors are compliant and accountable.
Day to day you'll be:
- Managing safety onsite across a $30M aged care build
- Running subcontractor inductions and overseeing SWIMS documentation
- Reviewing and maintaining safety plans and systems
- Conducting internal audits and identifying areas for improvement
- Educating and supporting site teams on best practice HSE
- Working approximately every second Saturday (1.5x rate)
You're a hands-on HSE professional who's comfortable being the face of safety on a busy construction site.
You'll bring:
- 1+ years in an HSEQ role within a Main Contractor environment
- Commercial, townhouse, or aged care construction experience preferred
- Confidence managing subcontractors and building rapport with site teams
- Hammertech experience highly regarded (or a similar safety management platform)
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
- $40–$45/hr base + super + overtime
- (approx. every second Saturday at 1.5x)
- Lynbrook project — stable, long-term engagement on a well-run aged care build
