The Role:
As the HSEQ Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business’ safety, quality, and environmental compliance across multiple projects. Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, and the leadership team, you will ensure best practice systems are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce WHS, Quality, and Environmental compliance across live projects.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
- Support project teams with HSEQ documentation including SWMS, ITPs, permits, and incident reporting.
- Lead toolbox talks and training sessions to embed a strong safety culture.
- Assist in maintaining ISO, OFSC, and other accreditation requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure all works align with legislation and client requirements.
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in HSEQ within commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of OHS legislation, Australian Standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting multiple projects or working in a site-based HSEQ role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both site teams and senior management.
- Relevant qualifications in WHS, Quality, or Environmental Management.
