The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors up to $350 mil including data centres, education, aged care, health and industrial.
They are looking for an all round Project Engineer that has experience with procurement, this business treat their Project Engineers like Assistant PM's so they must have an understanding of this. Great opportunity for someone to step up and be on a pathway to PM level.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
- Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
- Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on projects over $30 mil
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1,2 or 3 Builder
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
- Reliable references
- Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
- Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia
