The Role
You will manage retail fit-out projects from award through to handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations. This role suits a proactive Project Manager who thrives in a fast-track environment and enjoys working closely with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of retail fit-out projects
- Programme, cost, and subcontractor management
- Client and stakeholder coordination, including centre management
- Procurement and contract administration
- Manage Site Managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitor quality, safety, and compliance across all projects
- Manage variations, progress claims, and final accounts
- Regular reporting on programme and financial performance
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in retail fit-out or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of fast-track programmes and live retail environments
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Solid knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
- Relevant construction or building qualifications
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery outcomes
