The Role
You will take ownership of projects from tender through to handover, managing the full lifecycle across planning, delivery, commercial performance, and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with internal construction teams and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple construction projects
- Manage programs, timelines, and critical path activities
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and margin performance
- Drive procurement, variations, and contract administration
- Act as the primary client interface throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with NCC, WHS, and contractual obligations
- Conduct quality reviews, site inspections, and risk mitigation
- Provide clear and consistent project reporting to stakeholders
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction
- Proven delivery of projects ranging from $2M – $30M+
- Strong knowledge of AS contracts (AS2124, AS4000, AS4900 etc.)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Project and project management systems (e.g. Procore)
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, variations, and margins
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project environments
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and buildability
- Experience in remedial, medium density, social housing or complex builds (highly regarded)
