The Role
Reporting directly to the owners, you’ll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a $20m storage facility, from procurement through to handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end project management of the build programme, budget and delivery outcomes
- Managing and mentoring the Contract Administrator and site delivery team
- Driving procurement strategy, subcontractor engagement and programme milestones
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Managing project financials, forecasting, variations and monthly reporting
- Identifying and mitigating project risks before they become delivery issues
- Ensuring quality, safety and compliance outcomes are achieved throughout delivery
- Working closely with internal leadership to ensure commercial performance targets are met
- Proven Project Management experience delivering commercial or industrial projects from $10M–$30M
- Strong exposure to industrial or large-scale commercial builds
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong financial management capability
- Ability to lead teams, make decisions and keep projects moving
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
- Experience working for a recognised commercial builder in the Australian market
