The Role:
You’ll take ownership of the estimating process across a mix of community, education, civic, and social infrastructure projects, typically valued between $1m–$4m. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in pricing, tendering, and securing future work that benefits the community.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for government and community projects
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to achieve best value outcomes
- Work closely with Project Managers and Directors during pre-construction phases
- Manage bid documentation, scopes, and tender programs
- Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture
- 5+ years’ estimating experience within the commercial construction sector
- Proven exposure to local government, community, or education projects
- Strong technical understanding of construction methodology and trade breakdowns
- A collaborative mindset and down-to-earth communication style
- $160K–$170K + Super
