The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for day-to-day site delivery, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within quality expectations, and to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Full site management of a $7m commercial build
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and daily site activity
- Driving construction programme and managing short-term lookaheads
- Managing site safety, compliance, inductions, and documentation
- Ensuring workmanship and finishes meet required quality standards
- Running toolbox talks, site meetings, and consultant coordination
- Managing site logistics, sequencing, and problem-solving on the ground
- Working closely with the Project Manager and CA to ensure smooth delivery
- Overseeing defects, commissioning, and practical completion
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a commercial builder
- Experience delivering projects in the $5m–$15m range
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management
- Trade background or construction qualification preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to run site independently and drive outcomes
