Our Client
Our client is a privately held development group who have been in operation for over 30 years and have an impressive track record across apartment, commercial, hotel and townhouse developments. This group have one of the most active development pipelines in the Victorian market and continue to have strong appetite for new acquisitions. 

The business has built a strong reputation through its ability to move quickly, make commercial decisions efficiently and execute projects across the full development lifecycle.

The Role
Operating with a lean structure, this role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to be involved in both acquisitions and live projects from day one.

This opportunity will suit someone looking to step into a broad role within an entrepreneurial environment rather than a heavily layered institutional business.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will support the acquisitions and transaction management function of the business while also assisting across active development projects and broader commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Financial modelling and feasibility analysis for acquisition opportunities
  • Supporting acquisition due diligence and transaction execution processes
  • Preparing investment analysis, acquisition submissions and internal reporting
  • Market research, site analysis and competitor reviews
  • Assisting with funding submissions, transaction documentation and consultant coordination
  • Supporting active development projects through reporting and commercial analysis
  • Assisting with asset-related analysis including ROI reviews and divestment support

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:
  • 4 years’ experience within property development, transactions, funds management, advisory or a related sector
  • Strong financial modelling and feasibility capability
  • Exposure to acquisitions and development projects within the property industry is a non-negotiable
  • Advanced Excel capability and strong commercial acumen
  • The ability to work within a lean environment and manage competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
