Our Client
Our client is a fully integrated property development group who design, develop, construct, and hold assets across the residential, commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. With a strong pipeline of residential projects, they are seeking a talented Interior Architect to join their in-house design team.

The Role
Joining a well-established design team of 8, this is a hands-on role where you will contribute across the full project lifecycle—from early brief development through to delivery.

With a strong focus on apartment developments, you will be responsible for developing project briefs, defining scope, and delivering high-quality, detailed interior design outcomes. You will play a key role in FF&E specification and scheduling, ensuring all selections align with design intent, budget, and program.

Working within a fully integrated property group, you will collaborate closely with internal design, development, and construction teams, as well as manage and coordinate external consultants. You will contribute to design resolution, documentation, and project delivery, with a focus on buildability, efficiency, value management, and overall design quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to project brief development and scope definition
  • Manage external architects to produce detailed design documentation across all project stages
  • Research, select, and specify FF&E, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Prepare and manage FF&E schedules throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Support design quality through strong attention to detail and technical resolution
What We’re Looking For:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Architectural Technology
  • Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience
  • Proven experience managing Interior Design packages, ideally on residential projects
  • Strong technical understanding of construction detailing
  • Demonstrated experience in FF&E specification and documentation
  • High attention to detail and excellent coordination/project management skills
What’s on Offer:
  • Opportunity to transition to the client side
  • Unrivalled exposure to the full development lifecycle
  • Excellent job security with a strong project pipeline
  • Clear scope for career progression
  • Work alongside a highly successful development and construction team
  • Attractive salary package circa $100–130k (dependent on experience)
