As the Senior Contract Administrator, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of a high-profile project. You’ll oversee the full contract administration lifecycle, manage key subcontractor relationships, and ensure all commercial aspects align with the project timeline and budget.
You’ll also be a mentor to junior staff, fostering growth and ensuring best practices are shared across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer head and subcontractor contracts from procurement to final close-out
- Manage project budgets, variations, and progress claims
- Mitigate contractual risks and support the project team on commercial matters
- Lead and guide a small commercial team, fostering professional development
- Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure smooth project delivery
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in contract administration within the construction industry
- Proven experience on education or other social infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial management, and project controls
- Leadership skills and a passion for mentoring junior team members
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
