About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Assist the Site Manager and Senior Site Supervisor in coordinating and supervising all construction activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Oversee the structure phases of the project
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor project progress and report to the Site Manager on a regular basis
- Act as a mentor to junior staff, preparing them for future leadership roles
You ideally have worked on commercial projects as a Site Manager or Supervisor/Foreman. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple stakeholders on the projects.
- Proven experience as a Supervisor/Foreman delivering projects in excess of $50 mil
- Have run structure on a project - Concrete structure and structural demo experience required
- Previous experience with Tier 1 or 2 or well known T3 construction companies
- Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in managing excavation and structure phases of construction projects
- Ability to effectively lead a team and solve problems under pressure
- Desire to advance into a Site Manager role in the future
- Proven experience completing projects start through to completion
- Proven longevity at past businesses
- Be a team player and have a good attitude
