In this role, you will work directly with their client—a leading global data centre developer and operator supporting construction delivery.

Australia’s burgeoning data centre market is set to nearly double to $40 billion over the next four years as companies invest big in AI platforms. Victoria is set to be a big winner in the new investment and development of said centres.
The role will be responsible for coordination of design and construction consultants on a high profile data centre expansion project on behalf of a global heavyweight in the data centre developer space.
The Job
- Help lead the delivery of project activities including utility interfacing, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies and ECI interface.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Scope & Schedule Management: Develop and manage a comprehensive project scope document (PSD) and a detailed project schedule, proactively identifying and mitigating risks that could impact timelines.
- Contract Administration: Oversee all construction and fitout contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Implement a robust QA/QC program to guarantee the project meets all data center industry standards and best practices.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and updates.
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a design or construction management role required. (Australian project experience is required)
- Complex and technical construction experience is required.
- Data Center experience is preferred but health, pharma, bio sciecnes will also be viewed prefereably
- Experience in Construction and/or mechanical/ electrical/ construction services management is a requirement.
