My client is a well-known national Tier 2 contractor who deliver education, health, commercial and defence project predominately up to $300M. They are looking an experienced Site Engineer to join the team to work on one of two $100 mil commercial projects in Western Sydney.
This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded experienced Site Engineer to join an industry leader that has secured local work for years to come. They have an experienced senior leadership team and can offer someone genuine progression.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
- Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
- Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed
- 3 years' experience in a coordination role with a commercial builder.
- Project experience from civil through to finishes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Short term progamming and plannings skills
- Understand what the key project milestones are and do what you can to make sure they are achieved
