The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, timely and high-quality delivery of the project from groundworks through to handover.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing all on-site construction activities
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades
- Driving program and ensuring milestones are achieved
- Maintaining strict compliance with OH&S requirements
- Ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications
- Managing site logistics, inductions, and daily reporting
- Liaising with consultants, stakeholders, and client representatives
- Leading and motivating site teams to deliver excellence
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects ($5m–$20m)
- Previous experience delivering education or institutional projects
- Strong knowledge of Victorian building regulations and OH&S standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to drive program while maintaining quality and safety
- Trade background or relevant construction qualification
