The core responsibility of this position is to act as a quality control checkpoint ensuring all drawings are compliant, coordinated and construction-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and check all production drafting documentation prior to release
- Ensure drawings are accurate, compliant and aligned with company standards
- Identify and rectify discrepancies, clashes and compliance issues
- Complete precise and accurate variations to drawings
- Maintain documentation consistency across all projects
- Liaise with internal departments and external consultants to resolve documentation queries
- Proven experience as a Draftsperson within the residential building sector
- Ideally an understanding and working knowledge of Revit
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and checking construction documentation
- Excellent understanding of NCC, REScode and residential compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
