This role offers exposure across both sales estimating and production estimating, providing full lifecycle involvement from tender through to construction support.
The Role
Working closely with Sales, Design, Project Management and Procurement, you will be responsible for preparing accurate tenders, reviewing documentation, protecting margin and supporting construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural, engineering, services, civil and customer documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Prepare detailed tender costings, specifications and contract pricing documentation
- Process variations and customer-driven design changes throughout sales and construction
- Prepare BOQs and issue Purchase Orders prior to site commencement
- Identify discrepancies in documentation and collaborate with internal teams to resolve
- Monitor and report on retail margins, identifying value management opportunities where required
- Contribute to tender submissions, subcontractor pricing and risk assessment activities
- Experience as an Estimator within commercial or townhouse construction
- Exposure to both sales and production estimating advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and BOQ preparation
- Commercially minded with margin awareness
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and organisational capability
