Due to continued growth, they are seeking an HSEQ Coordinator to support the implementation and management of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality systems across multiple fit-out projects.
The Role:
Working closely with project teams and leadership, you will play a key role in promoting a strong safety-first culture across the business. This position will involve both site-based and office-based responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations while supporting project teams to maintain high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining HSEQ systems and procedures across projects
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support the preparation and review of SWMS, JSA’s, and safety documentation
- Investigate incidents and assist with corrective and preventative actions
- Coordinate site inductions and safety training
- Promote a positive safety culture across site teams and subcontractors
- Previous experience in a HSEQ, Safety, or WHS role within commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety management systems
- Relevant qualifications in Work Health & Safety or similar
- Ideally have exposure to FSC Accreditation process
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with site teams
- Proactive approach to improving safety performance
