My client is currently looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join a large Tier 2 business that has a great name within the industry. 

They are looking for someone for a brand new $110 mil project located on the Northern beaches. 

The business delivers major residential developments across the Sydney Metro region and have had a growing reputation for the last 30 years. 

As a Safety Advisor you will drive and facilitate the site management of Health, Safety & Environmental activities including but not limited to:
  • Providing specialist safety guidance to project leaders & site supervisors/workers.
  • Positively advocate facilitation of HE&E duties through mentoring and coaching
  • Assess data via lag indicators (audits & incidents) to map trends and help influence the projects safety approach.
  • Support the implementation of safety initiatives and new technologies to improve culture and company performance (HammerTech)

Requirements
  • Demonstrated practical construction related safety coordination/management experience & knowledge, delivering small to large projects; built form (preferably), civil construction or infrastructure for government and/or private clients
  • WHS industry relevant qualifications and certificates
  • Collaborative communication skills consistent with effective consultation, influencing and relationship building.
  • Competent computer and system skills - HammerTech training provided
  • Experience working on multiple new build construction projects start to finish
  • Australian construction experience - New build construction experience is a must
